Description
A hoarse “good morning” that sounds more like an alarm. Here, instead of a rooster crowing, there is the barking of dogs; instead of morning exercises, there is a fight in the corridor; and instead of a hymn, there is a worn-out hit song on repeat. Everything is permeated with grayness, the grinding of iron, and the memory of a riot that shattered the silence. The morning in the camp is devoid of romance, but has a strange musicality, as if harsh life itself is writing its own soundtrack.
