Description
Through the fatigue and smoke, something primitive can be heard: a mixture of desire, pain, and attempts to hide it all in the short word “okay.” There is little tenderness and a lot of tension here - like in a relationship where habit competes with passion. The rain passes, but it doesn't wash away - there remains a feeling that prayers are whispered, and comfort is sought in bodies, not words.
