Description
Everything here revolves around the eternal “the night will wash it all away.” A sleepy morning with cold water on your face, scattered stars before your eyes, and money going up in smoke - it's as if life is constantly losing at dice, but doing so with pleasure.
And amid all the chaos, there is a small respite: a room with a neon sign, warm hands nearby, and the illusion that at least until dawn, everything is fine.
The song sounds like a hungover toast to last night - without promises for tomorrow, but with sincere gratitude for what was “there and then.”

Original
Fall outta bed splash my face
Try to keep my mind in the right place
I’ve been high baby I’ve been low
I’m seeing stars everywhere I go
Everywhere I go
Down on the corner waiting for my man
Burning money right outta my hand
Playing games rolling dice
Up in flames but it feels alright
But it feels alright
We’ll always have the night before
There’s no place like the night before
She got a room, at the end of the hall
With a neon sign hanging on her wall
I got a girl treat me right
Keep me warm when I turn out the light
Turn out the light
Turn out the light, alright
We’ll always have the night before
There’s no place like the night before
We’ll always have the night before
There’s no place like the night before
