Description

It feels as if loneliness is not a mood, but a smell. It is as pungent as washing powder that has been overused, and now even a sweater in the cold whispers of longing. The crowd, the sea, your own sheets - everything becomes cramped because it catches up with you everywhere and sits down next to you without invitation. The song sounds like a confession that hiding is useless: masks slip, smiles don't save you, and inner hunger scrapes at the walls from within. The irony is that even if you don't say anything, people still seem to “sense” it - in your face, in your gait, in the aroma of coffee. The result is a portrait of a gentle but ruthless companion who eats bit by bit until only music remains to drown out the silence, at least a little.
