Description
The track sounds like the morning after a stormy night - when the pillow feels foreign, the phone is silent, and your head is filled with a sticky mess of jealousy, anger, and exhaustion. There's sarcastic “I'll stay sweet as cinnamon” and an honest admission that it's easier to sleep until three than to pick yourself up again. The music rocks with sickening sweetness, as if embracing you, while the lyrics hit you right in the solar plexus. The result is a strange kind of therapy: falling apart beautifully and not being ashamed of it.
