Blushing

Pink cheeks and knees, wobbly as if after three cocktails in a row. At first, it seems like sweet teenage love - with notes in the margins and a carousel in your head. But then this carousel turns into a whole circus with lights, Japanese tours, and midnight McDonald's under your arm.

Here, tenderness is mixed with audacity, lace with leather, and dreams with a slightly poisonous reality. Naivety is not shyly hidden, but blushes with pride, like a precious jewel. The world can be harsh, but as long as you hold hands, it turns pink, almost fairy-tale-like.
